An almost native, Peggy came to Asheville in 1998 to attend college at Mars Hill University. The kind people, beautiful scenery and abundance of activities kept her here. Since buying her first home in 2001, Peggy has explored many avenues in real estate from investing, remodeling, property management, and buying and selling of her own homes. After selling her restaurant Rise ‘n Shine Café 3 years ago, Peggy decided to devote herself to real estate full time as an agent and property manager to her 3 vacation rentals in the area. Always happy to navigate the buying or selling process, Peggy specializes in working with first time home buyers & those looking to buy or sell a second home in the mountains, either for investment, pleasure, or both. In her off time, you will find Peggy enjoying these mountains and streams with her young son.

Local Roots Realty is owned and operated by Ada Faye Dudenhoeffer. She is an Asheville native and a full-time Mom to an awesome kid. If she had hobbies they would be daydreaming about vacations and renovations.
